  • Loved dinner at this place, it was a perfect way to experience Hokkaido wagyu through multiple different cuts! We tried a couple different versions of the course menu—we liked it so much the first time we came back for dinner again the next day. Service is extremely kind and attentive, and very English-speaking friendly. All of the sides were delicious as well! Definitely recommend making a reservation but it wasn’t too difficult to get one for the same day on a weeknight.

  • We walked in right when they opened at 5pm as our hotel wasn't able to help us secure a reservation. They were able to sit a party of 6 together. Before seating us down they mentioned it would be a 2 hour time limit. We ordered a set menu meal and the restaurant inclines you to order one drink per person. We were served by Nao our waitress. She was very kind and patient by explaining everything to us in English. As well as explaining how to cook each meat with what sauce pairing. Would recommend coming here.

  • Excellent wagyu. Bougie atmosphere, they give you a small closet to put your stuff so the smoke doesn’t stink up your clothes, even though it’s a lot less smoky than your typical barbecue place (the ventilation is underneath the grill). However one complaint I have is that they require us to order one drink per person, and 1) I don’t like ordering alcohol, 2) none of the non-alcoholic drinks appealed to me. Understanding that this was a rule to ensure that everyone orders a certain amount, I tried asking if I could just order more food instead and they declined, which I found pretty inflexible.

  • I visit Japan 3-4 times a year. I choose to be in Sapporo during my birthday month. I heard that your restaurant has the best quality. I stepped into the restaurant. Waitress asked me if I want Chinese menu? Not every asian is Chinese. So I asked for english menu. I wasn't disappoint for the quality. But one thing that I don't know why you need to be rush for serving every course. I'm as a solo-traveler I ordered 16,500¥ and a bottle of red wine. I arrived 17:00 and 18.20 the waitress started to serve porridge while I haven't even started to grill the previous one... The restaurant was almost empty. I don't know why we can't take our time enjoy our food and drink if I had to pay 21,450¥ alone.

  • We were looking for a good value yakiniku that serves wagyu and stumbled upon Yoshiushi. The reviews are not lying. The wagyu melts in your mouth and our server, Nao, was friendly and provided great service! She even had the elevator ready for us when we were leaving.

  • This restaurant delivers an authentic and delicious Yakiniku experience. The Maborosi course boasts premium beef cuts, beautifully prepared, and full of flavours. What truly elevated the meal was the service. Our waitress, Nao Hiroshima was attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful without ever being intrusive. She anticipated our needs, explained the dishes clearly (in Japanese and English), and ensured everything was cooked perfectly. With its delicious Japanese food and exceptional hospitality, this restaurant offers an experience that feels both refined and welcoming. It is a place I would happily return to and confidently recommend to anyone looking for excellent Yakiniku in Sapporo paired with attentive, gracious service.
